I know so little about East African henna and thought that others might be as curious as I am to know more. A little bit more about Fatma: Tima of Simply Gorgeous Henna (instagram: @simply_gorgeous_henna) provides professional body art services and products to conscious beauties in Mombasa and the surrounding areas. Natural henna and jagua are grounding expressions of our feminine energies, and Tima celebrates this timeless tradition with modern design infusions, empowering women to safely indulge in this ancient art form that first landed in East Africa between 1,000 and 2,000 years ago. She is inspired by henna as a medium that intersects beauty, art, and culture, and has been a life-long lover of this remarkable plant medicine that transcends borders and unites conscious beauties all over the world.
