Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem made a high-profile visit to the San Diego-Mexico border last week to tout the Trump Administration’s policies cracking down on immigration and drug activity. But her visit comes as national support for federal tactics continue to decline, Congressional Democrats strengthen demands for change, and DHS shut down over the weekend after federal funding lapsed. CalMatters Investigative Journalist Wendy Fry joins Insight to talk more about Noem’s visit, and what it could signify about immigration enforcement across the country and in California.

Wine Country Curling Club
Fans of the Winter Olympics are probably familiar with curling, the strategic sport defined by sliding stones and frantic sweeping. For almost 20 years, beginners and curling veterans across the Sacramento region have turned to the Wine Country Curling Club for the chance to get hands-on experience on the ice, including classes at the Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville.
