Modesto Mayor Sue Zwahlen
The Stanislaus County sports scene is changing. This weekend, the Modesto Nuts played their final home games at John Thurman Field, bringing nearly 80 years of baseball in the city to a close. And last month, the city council approved a site for a potential new professional soccer stadium in downtown Modesto. Mayor Sue Zwahlen joins Insight to talk about what these changes mean for the city, as well as how Modesto aims to develop and grow in the future.
Placer County’s Wine Scene
California produces over 80% of wine in the United States. And with harvest season in full swing, the state is a destination for wine tourism.
