Now available on Netflix, Youmans' film won the best narrative feature award at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, making him the first African American and youngest winner. Youmans, who made the film while he was still in high school, shares how he heard it was selected to premiere at the prestigious festival. He also discusses how acting in theater got him interested in film making, how he got actor Wendell Pierce to sign up for the film and his next project.
