Lucky for you, I popped along to the Etsy Wedding Fair to meet some very talented stationery designers, artists, illustrators and letterpress legends to bring you advice on how to choose the most fabulous wedding invitations, budget and timelines! The main goal of the invitation is to convey information. Who, where, when? You don’t need 18 separate cards and sections. The wedding invitation is the first opportunity (unless you’ve sent a Save the Date) that you have to convey to your guests the tone and style of your upcoming event. If you are having a classic formal wedding, express that to your guests with an appropriately coloured and worded invitation. If it’s a rockabilly wedding, get that theme going early, have fun with it, use colour etc. As you’ll learn in today’s podcast there are many different printing and design processes that you can select for your wedding stationery.
