When it comes to beauty editors, there's almost no one we hold in higher regard than Jean Godfrey June, the au naturel Beauty Director of Goop.com and former beauty director at Lucky Magazine. Her column at the latter outlet, called "The Beauty Closet" (who can forget those era-defining illas?), earned maximum respect for its just-between-us-BFFs writing style at a time when meaningless magazine-speak was very much the norm.
