The Yankees once again flexed their muscle at the expense of the Astros, topping the defending World Series Champs by a score of 5-3 Wednesday night in the Bronx. Luis Severino was terrific and Gary Sanchez was clutch. Boomer & Gio were all over the Yanks dominance early-on, but didn’t ignore their beloved Mets, who split a four game series with the Braves, by winning 4-1 in Atlanta. So the Yankees may be the best team in baseball, the Mets are hanging on – albeit by a threat - and Boomer wants, in the worst of ways, for LeBron and the Cavs to somehow dethrone the Warriors. |
