The Yankees follow the Mets lead, as both locals make MLB’s Opening Day, a rousing success. Boomer & Gregg were all over the baseball, as the good vibrations could certainly be felt coming from the Investors Bank Studio. First the Mets put up nine runs behind Noah Syndergaard to top the Cards. Then Giancarlo Stanton absorbed the spotlight by making Toronto his stage, leading the Yankees to a 6-1 win over the Blue Jays in the process. Speaking of Giancarlo, John Sterling was on the call for his two long balls (right here on WFAN) and what the legendary play-by-play man came up with was not well received. You know the drill folks - it’s a Friday, so start actin’ like it!!! |
