FARGO Junior forward Andrew Morgan scored a game-high 27 points to lead North Dakota State to a 73-68 victory against North Dakota on Saturday in Summit League men's basketball at the Sanford Health Athletic Conference before 5,058 fans.
Morgan was 11-for-15 from the floor, including 2-for-3 shooting from 3-point range. The 6-foot-10 forward scored 14 points in the second half. Senior guard Boden Skunberg added 15 points and six rebounds for NDSU. The Bison shot 56% (15 of 27) from the floor in the second half.
The Bison earned a split of the season series with UND after the Fighting Hawks won earlier this season in Grand Forks. B.J. Omot paced the UND men with 22 points. Amar Kuljuhovic added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Fighting Hawks.
The women's game is scheduled for 4 p.m.
