Description: FARGO North Dakota State had added its first September commitment for the 2024 football recruiting class.

Rock Canyon (Colo.) High School's Will Rosenmeyer has verbally committed for the Bison, he announced via social media. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Rosenmeyer is projected to play defensive back at NDSU.

The Bison have 22 verbal commitments for the 2024 class.

NDSU had a busy summer, getting the majority of its commitments in June and July. The Bison had six commitments in July. In June, NDSU had 10 verbals. Fargo South tight end Reis Kessel was the final commitment in June. He joins to program as a preferred walk-on.

The Bison had a run of North Dakota commits to start the class, with the fourth being Minot Ryan offensive lineman Coy Okeson.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Okeson announced his commitment Wednesday, June 14, via social media. He is the fourth commitment for the 2024 class and are North Dakota high school players.

Okeson also had offers from Air Force and Wyoming.

Offensive lineman Nate Tastad from North Prairie High School was one of the commitments that preceded Okeson. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Tastad, from Rolette, N.D., was a first team all-state selection last year as a junior. He held offers from the University of Wyoming and the University of North Dakota.

They join a class that includes Williston High School's Isiah St. Romain, who committed on May 3. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound St. Romain is a multiple-sport athlete for the Coyotes and is expected to play wide receiver at NDSU.

The Bison added another in-state player Monday, May 8, when Fargo North's Peder Haugo announced his commitment, the second commitment in the class.

St. Romain had 22 receptions for 401 yards and four touchdowns during his junior season at Williston. He also averaged 22.6 points per game the past season for the Coyotes boys basketball team. He is also on the track team, primarily competing in sprints and long jump and high jump.

"110% committed," St. Romain wrote in his NDSU commitment message on social media.

St. Romain received his first Division I offer from the Bison on March 24.

“It just felt like home," St. Romain said. “I like the group of guys that they have, the coaching staff, everybody.”

NDSU got its first commitment for the 2023 recruiting class April 3, 2022, when Spring Lake Park (Minn.) High School's Beau Johnson committed to the Bison. Johnson ended up signing with NDSU last December.
