FARGO North Dakota State came up short to a Pac-12 Conference school for a highly regarded prep quarterback recruit from Pierre, S.D. T.F. Riggs High School rising senior Lincoln Kienholz committed to the Washington Huskies on Wednesday, June 19, he announced via social media. The Bison were the lone FCS program on Kienholz's final list, which he announced in late May. Kienholz passed for 3,359 yards and 37 touchdowns with six interceptions last fall. He also rushed for 1,156 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is a dual-treat QB and multisport standout. Kienholz is also a 1,000-point scorer as a point guard on the Governors' basketball team. He was offered a basketball scholarship by the University of South Dakota.
