Description: For the second spring in a row, the North Dakota State baseball team has been the class of the Summit League.

New head coach Tyler Oakes lost one of their best players in program history, had to play 37 straight road games and has the Bison in position to win their first regular season conference title in Division I. Watch NDSU to once again win a game or two in the NCAA Tournament.



I am among the people upset that Twins phenom Royce Lewis was sent down Wednesday morning.

All Lewis did since arriving at Target Field was impress, hitting over 300 and playing great defense.



His stint in the minors I believe will be a brief one and when he returns, he's going to be playing a position other than shortstop.



Quincy Patterson's departure may not hurt the Bison offense as much as some people think.



I've been on the Cole Payton bandwagon soon after he verbally committed to NDSU and from what I saw this spring, there's nothing I've seen yet to sway my thoughts that NDSU has another future stud at quarterback.



Look for Payton to get some of the packages Patterson was going to get and he'll be throwing the ball too.



Lastly, the Fargo-Moorhead metro high school football fans better prepare themselves for a recruiting season like we've never seen before.



Two players, Moorhead's Elinneus Davis and West Fargo Sheyenne's Karter Menz each have major Power 5 offers and each very well could be playing major college football in two years time.
