FARGO NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his most recent mock NFL Draft on Wednesday, March 23, that includes former North Dakota State wide receiver Christian Watson going in the first round. Jeremiah has Watson headed to the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 30 overall after Kansas City made a blockbuster trade to send receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. "After trading Tyreek Hill to Miami, the Chiefs add a new weapon for Patrick Mahomes," Jeremiah wrote. "Watson has an intriguing combination of size and speed. He'd follow in the footsteps of his dad, who was a safety for the Chiefs in the 1990s. Watson is set to participate in NDSU's annual pro day Thursday, March 24, in Fargo along with offensive lineman Cordell Volson, defensive end Brayden Thomas and tight end Josh Babicz. If Watson is selected in the first round, that would mark the second consecutive season the Bison have had a player selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. Last year, former Bison quarterback Trey Lance was selected No. 3 overall by the San Francisco 49ers. ]]> |
