IOWA CITY, Iowa – These days, Matt Sherman works for Gopher Sports Properties.

Yes. The former starting quarterback at Iowa works is connected to the University of Minnesota as an employee of Learfield IMG College.
Don’t worry, Hawkeye fans. He says he’s still one of you.
I caught up with Sherman this week about the dynamic of working with the Gophers after trying to beat them with his alma mater. He spoke about his time at Iowa, where he experienced ups and downs, most of it very public, the recent passing good fiend and former teammate, Ryan Driscoll, and a lot more in our latest episode of the Hawkeye History Podcast.
