Her first cookbook, Bringing It Home, was released in October 2017. Gail is an extremely giving person, sharing her time (and money) with organizations such as Spoons Across America, City Harvest, Hot Bread Kitchen, Common Threads, the Institute of Culinary Education and more. Gail was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and moved to New York City in 1999. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
