Regardless of whether you have any interest in Himalayan tahr hunting, this issue is about far more than tahr or even NZ politics. The lines have been drawn and our will to fight is being put to the test. Politically and emotionally driven wildlife management has become the norm and not the exception. In recent months, we have seen examples of this in British Columbia, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, New Jersey and now New Zealand, to name just a few.
