	Description:		Jeremy Corbyn has called for a war powers act so Parliament is consulted before any military action. MPs will debate his proposal in the Commons today. Many recall that the words "we will enshrine in law the necessity of consulting Parliament on military action" were first used not by Mr Corbyn but by William Hague, Conservative Foreign Secretary in 2011 when David Cameron's government launched attacks on Libya.
