On this episode of Baseball Outside the Box…
Volunteer coaches have the most important responsibly coaching kids as well as one of the most difficult coaching responsibilities because in all fairness it’s not what they do for a living. At times they lack assistant coaches, practice time, equipment and some teaching principals. But, they are the most important coach/teacher as they are the foundation of the sport. How they coach and influence players has a major determination on if kids get smarter, better, individually successful and, if done correctly, the result will be more kids staying in the game longer. In many countries, it will determine whether they are able to recruit players in the sport.
The podcast will first begin interviewing volunteer coaches from all over the USA and around the world. We would be asking them what areas they struggle in the most when they are working with their teams. We will answer all their questions during the interview and this would allow other coaches in the same situation to listen and learn. We will interview experts in the game on teaching young kids and discuss some of the issues and solutions that will help coach become better. The show will be Face book live were coaches can interact with the show by asking questions during the interview.
