As a scout 20 years he signed first Italian born Major League player, coached World Baseball Classic Italian National Team, we discuss what he is telling his players on how to be ready when the season opens up, we discuss the Italian Pro league and what is different from others, the level, etc. Mauro talks about what characteristics a winning manager has, how he runs practices, what his thoughts are during the game, what does he do with bench players to keep them in the game, be ready, when you lose or win is there a team meeting, if yes, what is discussed. How he picks a team, what areas of offense do they work on, how do they prepare them for the real game situation, bunting involved. In Italy they do not play enough games at the lower levels, what are ways to play more games at practice or make it more game like.
