David Thorpe is delightful delivering this 1935 mystery. Perfect character voices for all the members of Carey’s Circus - among them, Anton, the tiger trainer. Thorpe is also perfect as Scotland Yard’s Detective Inspector Minto, who happens to be attending the circus when Anton is found dead inside the tigers’ cage.
