Description: Tuesday , Aspen City Council takes a look at a program that supports the city’s small lodges. The Small Lodge Preservation Program, or SLPP, was adopted in 2015. It offers incentives, like assistance for energy efficiency upgrades and reduced fees for building permits, to operators of hotels with 50 rooms or less. In exchange, they agree to stay in business for a certain number of years.
