Healthtech advisory firm Galen Growth Asia says total venture investment into the Medtech sector stood at US$5 billion in 2016, with the number of deals growing to 622 from 574 in 2015. Started in 2012, MyDoc has become Asia’s top digital health brand with partners including leading global insurers AXA and AIA, regional pharmaceutical powerhouse Guardian Pharmacy and many more. MyDoc received a first round investment of an undisclosed amount led by August Capital Partners and Spring Seeds Capital.
