	Description:		We all have a story…but we all do not have Rita Nguyen’s story. Rita is Vietnamese by birth and grew up in Canada…her mother and father literally escaped from Vietnam in 1979 after 14 attempts with Rita and her siblings. After thriving in the corporate world, Rita decided she wanted to go to Vietnam and learn about the tech scene there. Once there, she realized she loved it so much, she could not leave. Another trip to Myanmar and another world of opportunities opened up. When Rita arrived in 2012, access to the internet was spotty at best, SIM cards were unheard of or insanely expensive and the digital infrastructure was nonexistent. All Rita saw was opportunity…We had a super discussion at the rapid speed of development of all things digital in Myanmar and just how quickly things can change in a short period of time. One of the many interesting things that we discussed was that the build out of the mobile networks in Myanmar was the first time that a country built a data-first network prior to building out its voice network...
