All it took was two sisters, Cindee Black and Jordan Berry, sharing family recipes for non-toxic and organic household products that would benefit the health of their family and friends. This was no overnight idea; it was already deeply ingrained in their family’s lifestyle due to Cindee’s health issues as a child. When just 5 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease that rendered her allergic to MANY common household products. As she got older, she visited numerous doctors and homeopaths trying to understand how she could live chemical-free. Along the way, she developed a series of homemade remedies and cleaning products to ease her symptoms. She also discovered that she wasn’t alone (lots of people have such sensitivities without even knowing it). Along with her sister, Jordan, they teamed up to refine and bottle several of these recipes. That’s how Black and Berry Living came to be.
