Before finding international success with the addition of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in 1975, they had numerous personnel changes at the guitarist position. In fact, before Lindsey, they changed guitarists five times in seven years, as they ran the gamut from hardcore British blues to contemporary rock to breezy L.A. soft pop. In his latest article for the Strange Brew, Scott G. Shea tells the story of this magnificent band’s development through its guitarists.
