The Daily Mess Long Hair

Description: While protesting the Covid 19 lockdown in 2020 it became a choice to start wearing my hair long again. Yeah. My peaceful protest for being trapped in a world that none of us created. For the second time in my life the length of the hair has reached the middle of the back. What I've noticed in this modern society are the number of men of all ages who are wearing long hair again. Is it out of protest? Is it a Rock Star approach to living. Your hair comes from your mother. I recently lost mine to Covid, am I wearing it long because I embrace her gift every day? Your hair is like a tattoo. We see them on other people but we don't know the story. Maybe it's time we start asking why. Learning to know about those around us builds a stronger community. Rather than pointing fingers or poking fun of, the next step should be to embrace our unique walks in life. I began wearing my hair long the first time in my mid-20's. I was sick of looking like everyone else. Yeah. Another silent protest. Share your story or someone will write it for you.
