Well regarded for his landmark publication What Is Packaging Design, Giles’ talk to close out the Outstanding By Design event in Kilkenny last weekend looks in great detail at a wide variety of packaging forms, why they’re chosen, why the work or don’t work for a food product and why they work or don’t work for the end user. As a designer myself, it was great to hear the insights from someone like Giles and over the course of 40 minutes or so you can listen back to the session yourself.
