This show begins with Lori speaking with Veterinarian Douglas Kunz about choosing dog treats and toys carefully, to help your pets avoid dangerous ingestions, dental injuries and other hazards. Dr. Kunz is Medical Director of Desert VCA Animal Hospital in Palm Springs, California. Lori continues reviewing oral health concerns in dogs, in recognition of National Pet Dental Health Month.

Then, Peter welcomes Stacey Coleman and Brad Croft, who are putting rescued pit bulls to work as detection dogs. Stacey is executive Director of Animal Farm Foundation and Brad heads up Universal K9.

Lori then describes the highly biodiverse Danube Delta, a great destination for birdwatching. She concludes by discussing some of the most poisonous animals in the world, including spiders, snakes, frogs, jellyfish and more.
