Description:

When you go for a salon or spa visit, what are you really wanting in your services? Maybe to feel special, to know that the services are personally tailored to your own needs and specifications? Well, Patty Shcumcker’s guest on this episode of RadioAMB is offering just that. Meet Terah Tidy, founder of the wildly popular Malibu-based skincare line Madflowers. She is taking her experience in creating luxurious skincare products and transforming the salon and spa experience into an indulgent and personalized treat with the Glamifornia Style Lounge. She’s one of the entrepreneurs innovating beauty today.

Later in the show Patty will also be speaking with Shari Leidich of Know Brainer, a coffee creamer with the added health benefits of MCT oil and following along with the ketogenic diet: no added sugar but with healthy fats to boost your metabolism. If you’re going to put cream in your coffee why not make it a brain and body-boosting addition to your day?

Listen in today 11:00am PST, as Patty, Terah, and Shari discuss why looking and feeling your best has become more and more important and how you can get in on these beautiful trends. Only on Healthylife.net. Visit our website for more beauty inspiration at AmericanMadeBeauty.com.

of glamour glamour for Nia is a
collaboration and a conjunction of
glamour and California exists to
highlight trends of beauty fashion art
and wellness so let’s welcome Tara and
learn more about this wonderful
opportunity thanks for being with us
Sarah Thank You Patti I’m glad to be
back on your show sharing my message to
all your clients and similars and with
you as well great great well for those
that didn’t get a chance to hear the
first show just real briefly tell us a
little bit about about how you got
started in the business all I’ve been in
the beauty business for multiple years
and I started it back when I was a young
girl as a hairdresser and loving the
cloth and just booking my way to expand
and broaden all avenues of it and I work
in the salon I was on the stage I
traveled around the world probably my
biggest strength and my knowledge is is
hair to us
teaching hairdressers haircutting
coloring techniques how to talk from
sage how to look with the clients and
how to be a true artisan talent in in
the field of hairdressing I was able to
travel around the world with different
manufacturing companies that helped gave
me the opportunity to spread and share
the new hip cold trends the time that’s
great and so at this point you are
starting a new endeavor so tell us a
little bit about how first of all how
your early career sort of shaped what
what you’re calling on glama fornia
right so much well you know my early
career by being exposed to all cultures
of the world all the types of people how
how I noticed how different we are all
but then also how much were all the same
and you know a couple years ago I birth
glamour cornea which is calico me
glamour and it was a concept that I was
taking to Italy I was hired to go and
talk about what was new and trending and
I I came up with gramophone eeeh and
from now it evolved into an evolution of
what’s needed in the industry today it’s
also capturing the essence of California
glamour as you said before and it is a
fusion of services and sales in a very
intimate setting we can talk a little
bit more about that as we as we carry on
I think it’s a safe it’s marrying all my
experience and my crop and put it into a
concrete form and function in a brand
that’s relevant for today and the needs
of the beauty industry that’s great and
so what was what was the the problem
that you saw that that made you feel
like this was something that was timely
and filled a need
first of all first of all which is you
know with California glamour it is it’s
a brand and in the brand it is a way
that it brings beauty wellness art and
fashion together and and taking that
concept and I think everybody around the
world maybe once a little piece of
California we had work you know we were
about is about ideas about a feeling so
it found its blessing and saw that world
and that’s where I live and that’s all
I’m sought and that’s what I do and
that’s how I walk so let me just take
that and capture it all and put it into
a a new form a new form every style out
and that came that’s how I came up with
sublime authority of style out which is
the brick and mortar of my physical
location and it is a incubator of
creativity and it’s the formula for
success were talented artists created
products mingle a mix and in a very
intimate setting and it is it’s a it’s
going against you know with the world
right now everything is very mass
marketed and we’re coming up with the
Amazon you know take over all of all
kinds of ways of sell and get
information to consumers in other if the
internet it’s fabulous with now you can
go on and you can find information
everywhere all over the place and it can
be delivered right to you in your home
and the style out is a very intimate
small setting where it brings people in
to feel good about experiencing their
beauty treatments collaborating with
other people artists like coming in and
Mendeley it doesn’t have to be the one
and only place where they do everything
it’s it’s the heart of creativity but
that helped a little bit there yeah and
so when you say give me a
a typical what can a client expect when
they visit and have that kind of
experience okay so my Dharma funniest
guy alone is in Malibu and I’m in a very
iconic building I’m actually in the
original Malibu courthouse and I’m in
the old terrace office so I was able to
capture the community of Malibu I’m a
very boho chic plate I’m not a Beverly
Hills salon in Malibu or New York salon
I’m a little I’m a mountable identity in
Malibu so and in the square footage of
my space is 400 square feet and it has a
rotating styling it won every time the
clients come in they experience a
close-knit almost like in somebody’s
house a very relaxed feeling of a nice
day to come in there may be a different
set of artists working some days we’re
doing yoga one Mondays and Wednesday
afternoon on Tuesday with Tara we do all
the Pepperdine cities the local college
here in my area where we have a
Pepperdine day where we bring in the
spray tan artists the makeup artist a
braid the braiding girl they come in in
a cluster of clothes but they’re all has
partaking in their beauty as an
experience we also do a couple parties
with on Friday nights the man and the
traditional man and woman come in the
man gets boom and the woman gets loads
blow dried and sod and then they go on
their way out to dinner if you bridal
parties the traditional flan is is dying
we all we all know that or it is really
really being stalked and supported by
big manufacturing companies that really
help get call us and get message to get
education out there but for a small
business owner it can be difficult to
bring every element into your floor and
still hone in on your class and glam a
pony of style lounge
my vision and taking it and franchising
it is that we’re building a network of
artistry and creativity
we’ll all linked together you can be
your are is if it’s a makeup artists if
it’s a hairdresser you can be your
artist amongst a creative hub where the
consumer gets the experience as well as
the artist or the talent get the
inspiration and so when you talk when
you use the word artist you’re referring
to people who they’re their medium of
art is some form of beauty whether it be
hair makeup aesthetics all of that was
that’s the type of artist that you’re
talking about
absolutely when I use the word artist it
refers to abuse people who are you
another word that might be relatively is
that’s more relatable as the talent the
talent the esthetician the masseuse the
facial is the makeup artist assignments
the colorist certainly does your spray
tan we actually do a lot of energy work
in our font so these are all talent or
artists who are out there flying you
know not at the private that you are the
excellent who excel at what they do and
they’re selected to work here in this
round but they don’t just sit here and
being here five days a week waiting for
clients to come in sometimes I’m like I
curate a my custom a day for the client
so that client may come in and see only
one two services so we don’t need to
have the spray tan person sitting there
waiting for her but if she’s coming in
and watch the spray tan and her nails
and her hair endure and a lot you know
and a haircut no color and wants the
other things done at the same time I
curate it called that talent and have
them come here so that that day that
that woman is in here it’s catered to
what her needs are and she doesn’t have
to run to three or four different places
to get the best we they can come we come
to her at the style out
so so really that hybrid in that you
need a lot of times you go to a salon
and they as you said the talent is
sitting there waiting and hoping that
that client is going to show up or are
we’ve seen particularly here in LA where
sometimes it’s tough to get around
people are going to talent is going to
people’s home so you sort of created
this environment that both talent as
well as consumers can come in to immerse
in that creative vibe and energy and get
their curated experience that you
basically booked in advance
absolutely oh you said you’ve even said
it better than me hi I’m sorry thank you
for Thomas area and residents ever me
either you know it’s funny when you
create something and you know every
little single bit about it and then
delivering the message you know so I was
and I am BOTS about delivering the
basket so clearly and concisely and
making sure that it is an experience for
everybody my background is from the
artists see the hair dress is a makeup
artist the talent of the world to go out
and produce and create images if it’s
images for clients if it’s images for
editorial work for fashion shows
magicians or celebrities we love
creating okay that’s what we love to do
when we get in our zone we love to be
able to create that okay clients are
knowledgeable about what’s trending and
what’s going on as we are nowadays they
know exactly what they know when new
products come out onto the market as
soon as I know about them okay they’re
informed they’re educated they know what
styles they like they know what style
they want but they still need the talent
the artists to service them so and and
that so that’s nothing change nothing
st. that’s the way it’s always been this
is the environment in the way that we do
it now but the client doesn’t want to
come only into a big you know machinery
and just have one little you know just
you know in a big container and just get
work done he likes the feeling of being
relaxed and seeing comfort comforted and
sometimes the clients wants to be
isolated us and talk to anybody
sometimes the client wants to bring
three of her friends together and
they’re all from doing the beauty’s
variant and we as a business have to
adopt to both those needs you know we
ask that we have to be for what that
consumer that client would like and so
that’s why each day we can we can curate
and customize it and I have some clients
who come into my California sout lounge
and then sometimes they want to set the
talents to go to their house so it’s you
know it’s a new it’s a new way of
servicing that consumer today without
losing all inspiration in our creativity
because you know we like and we like
lots of action going on that’s what
keeps us creative as artists and keeps
us busy and doing us and join our class
working on people right and so um well
the first question that comes to my mind
as I as I look at that kind of model how
do you recruit the artists that are
engaged and keep them available when the
customer wants them well that’s that’s
that’s a new second agency it’s all it’s
like an agency now it’s the new beauty
business booking and scheduling and
marketing okay
what’s like with how I recruit a find
the talent of the artist is I mean
because I’ve been in the business folks
that so long I have a vast network and
experience of artists all over Los
Angeles all over the world okay so I I
know how it’s happened to them all my
friends or colleagues or in who are in
the industry I follow on instagram and
influencers and I look at people to work
and see what the work is like and then I
and then they in nowadays you know I can
see people’s work on suicide but they
don’t have to come in for an interview
and I can Skype them and they can show
me a haircut so I can also you know find
a hair stylist in Chicago somebody is
with people glamour cornea style school
size into through the sutras aspects of
the of the internet so I still look for
talent almost in the same way that I st.
Allen 20 20 years ago by maybe man
looking at the designated season looking
up their own personal style at a party
the kind are they are they relevant and
then and then it really comes back down
to the to the class you know and I’m
selective unsolicited by the people I
mean and I also you know I also people
who work for me also refer me with other
people to say look away is announce
awful at the reference what they already
if they only work with you will Matthews
and I know you did the hair like that
maybe the makeup like that I know them
they’re like minded so they probably be
they probably to be good for me and then
there’s a criteria of what they have to
meet and that criteria is really
professionalism of how well you are
accountable responsible to thought that
Europe that you are booked on and hire
an artist one one one of these looks
they will think that they want that
party Thank You Carol for them and so my
brand so I’m a cornea proud appointed
glamour is enticing to most people they
want a little bit of lightness such Miss
California glamour do you have somebody
that could do that on me so I thought
thoughts branding and there’ll I know
how I’m the artist images marrying them
together and just just one thing and
with artists or talent is it keeps the
artists for talent excited that maybe
one day they’re working at the style
lounge in Malibu maybe they also look in
another song in the other end amount I
mean the other end of LA and Pasadena
and so they’re getting exposure that
keeps them inspired for mine open
not just getting stocks in one place
every day five days a week and become
roads in there and they’re new in there
in the rhythm because I when you become
a road and stop everything you become
stuck now when you become socks you
become boy when you become born you
become old and then not old in age but
old in your and your skill and then you
start declining and today you you have
to be on the ball every minute you have
to be light on the ball and particularly
when we’re talking about the concept of
artistry and then I and I love some of
the information that you said ahead of
time because you talked about the idea
that it really is an art form and the
medium is is hair which is you know
where your particular expertise is but
you you I’m really capitalizing on the
idea that this is definitely an art form
you know we only have a minute left but
in addition to the normal beauty
services you I’m you mentioned wellness
services so energy healing are there
other wellness kinds of services that
you’re offering as well what we do sound
bass here at night is know in the
location still in the location we used
all day long we do folks we do full moon
and new moon sound bass in the morning
in the evening review yoga we’ve done
sometimes we have private energy healer
that brings a sound file and comes in
here we have the Beamer that we can
bring on the chair for people to sit on
to move energy through their body it’s
it’s it’s everything that’s come yeah
yeah and then wear it yes all right
we’re going to take a break and when we
come back we’ll talk a little bit more
about the kinds of experience that you
can look to have in the glamma fornia
environment and we’ll talk about what
the plan is to grow this concept so stay
with us we’ll be right back
you

net program so when you hear an author
you like go to the homepage of healthy
life net and click on amazon.com
where
positive people and radio unites healthy
life dotnet welcome back you’re
listening to Patti smoker on radio a and
B with healthy life net and I’m here
with Kara tiding and we are talking
about a new entrepreneurial passion Tara
has a brand already called mad flower
that you can see and purchase on
american-made Beauty calm but her newest
endeavor is a style lounge called
glamour for Nia and Tara tell us a
little bit about what your plans are for
for growing this new concept of service
in the fall for a salon environment okay
for the government my goal for the
glamour corner is final round is to be
able to give talent and artists who want
to want to have a small to they’ll have
an opportunity to have a small business
and make money while doing their craft
and doing their talents okay that is
that is the heartfelt goal I’ve been in
the beauty business for a long time and
I love craft and I love all the artists
in the talent and I want to make sure
that they just always able to go out
there and express themselves so I like
to license and/or franchise glamour for
Nia style lounge the franchise would be
a 400 square foot space that you could
open in your own community in your own
town you could even put this in one of
the new modes of business right now like
Salama public if you already have a
kiosk in there and you’re running to
space but you don’t have a brand name
and you’re you just you’re just called
by your own name but how more people are
going to find you you could be your
domain you know your own name domain
name a glamour for Nia style on
do not link to one manufacturing company
but your link to the style the artistry
the talent of our industry and that
would help you build your network and be
linked with other like-minded people a
franchise would be another opportunity
to have the actual physical space and
mimics the glamour cornea style lounge
that might fly shop is here in Malibu
with with a floating cable that rotates
the iconic floating retail wall with the
glamour Pony logo with the gramophone
ear surfboard and up for California
produces okay so two different a couple
of different formats but you’ve got some
some flexibility either you know a
separate space that has all of the
elements that you’re currently creating
in your flagship environment there in
Malibu as well as for those who are
listening who maybe are not in the
industry one of the things that has
happened very big in our industry is
Studios where there is a large building
and within that there’s individual
studios that one to six hairdressers
maybe rent and you’re talking about
being able to give them the elements so
that they could have that studio within
that facility and still have it be a
ground forming style lounge in the
retirement and you know what what would
be some of the advantages for an afford
artist to do that versus just sort of
setting up their own deal I think I
think one of the things that I that I
see in the industry with if you have if
you have a lot of experience and you
have a big clientele you you you will
see a lot of people breaking away and
going into those studios okay they
already has a set clientele but I see if
you’re coming new into the industry and
if you don’t join into a bigger salon
that’s feeding you with a lot of clients
and you’re left to just go out on your
own I feel that the momentum gets lost
the right being part of a network you
would be linked to my less
you would be linked to glamour for Nia’s
website you would have some of the some
of the groundwork around you that will
keep you in fluent it will be being fed
content and be fed new information to
keep you inspired and keep you activated
so that you can stay focused on your
client you’re working on but you’re
being said new ideas new marketing plans
new ways of doing parties new pictures
to put in your space so that you are
always currently evolving as in your
space but you as it is you your focus is
well as a small business owner it’s
really hard to do it all right it’s fine
it’s hard to stay on top of it
yeah and in Syria is there an advantage
for a more experienced stylist with us
that has a full book well I opened
interesting I’ve been finding it’s like
the people been in the business for 10
or 15 years they’re looking for weed
press they’re easier sometimes getting
kind of changing this location I don’t
want to work here anymore the formulas
change the owners of change and I need a
little reflux they don’t want to go out
on my own okay and so then this just
helps them with some of the effort it
takes to go out on your own and then
also I see all for the new going into
the industry you know the parents I see
parents buying this is an opportunity
for students are going new into the
industry to get a actual skill as
opposed to just getting only getting a
college education or are they still get
a college education but you’re some
parents now are asking students their
children get a college education and get
a skill because you’re going to need
those in the future and get a you know
get a cosmetology skill and own a
business and start a business and get
experience and then buy into a franchise
for the same place that you could buy
into a college education and learn and
work how to open up and run your own
business because everybody you’re not in
a big corporate company in the future
everybody is going to be
in their own independent business and it
may be part of a bigger DNA but you all
going to all have to be a business owner
right well I think that’s interesting
because it’s one part of our industry is
that art form and being able to
interface with clients and have that
great rapport but it sounds like you’re
recognizing one of the big pieces is
having that business infrastructure that
allows it actually to be profitable yes
yes we had possible and accountable to
the society and our money and input
anchors that opening coming you know and
yes yes yes and when you talk about a
profitable and accountable what are some
of the accountability systems that you
have built in well I know I’m still new
with all of that I mean I have a trained
eye I’m at the training program what was
it you know what your requirement
you know an operational program the
sanitizing and licensing is new to me
but so fascinating actually don’t quote
me on this but one of the biggest trends
at our fan sizes right now because they
all duplication and the up-and-coming
businesses and the inners and the newer
generations are used to learning
information and gathering information
off the templates offer tutorial offer
YouTube and it’s a safe easy way they’re
not looking to create a whole brand new
thing they’re looking to put something
is operational into production loads
they don’t like my generation we all
creating new things new things I think I
see the generation now this give me
something that I can print the
production in operations and make
success with it under my personal
individual skill pilot on to the mill
ship you know that is interesting
because with with the you know
generations of people that are 40 and
younger I think there is you know social
media has really given weight
to self-expression self-publishing a
real desire to co-create rather than be
given a finished product to be able to
buy your personalized stamp on it so I
can where that concept can really have a
lot of relevance in the market today and
we’re I said we’re going to take another
break and when we come back we’ll talk a
little bit more about how this concept
is bubbling up and switch a little bit
more and talk about the client side and
what are some of the things that are
happening to bring the clients in so
stay with us we’ll be right back

talking about glama fornia it is a new
of California style lounge a new
innovation and the service environment
you would go into in a salon and a new
environment for beauty artists to
express themselves and before the break
we were talking a little bit about how
relevant it is from the standpoint that
many people that are 40 and younger
really wanting to be to express
themselves co-create and be involved in
Tara you were you were about to mention
a little bit more on that subject
yes Patti it is human nature that we all
still want to be connected to people we
want to be belong to be part of
something bigger than ourselves we want
to belong to something and so but at the
same time inside of ourselves we want to
express her own individuality I hate
that person oh Jesus but we want to
express ourselves our own
self-expression and so I see the the the
medium the waters are breaking down of
how we use it how we used to welcome at
all with the one location and view one
and follow only one thing but now if
this allows us the opportunity to follow
multiple part of multiple networks and
still express myself and to have a
feeling of belonging their goal is
going to be leaders in followers and
Kabam opponents out loud is going to be
a leader of a new medium in the beauty
industry the artists to still create
their challenge on clients right right
and really and it’s very interesting I
mean it definitely speaks to the
characteristics of that of that is that
this age group and bottom line is that
this is a young industry you know as
it’s a physical work so as you know
people climb and age the number of
people that are that are doing the work
is fewer and fewer so really being able
to identify what the needs are in the
marketplace and that’s for people to be
able to come in and be able to have
their own individual talent so tell us a
little bit about how are you attracting
clients in this before it to this
particular setting well it’s nothing
with the so forth specific by marketing
strategy is community based you’ve got
to be strong in the community that you
in you not Scalia but whatever you are
you have to be connected to your
community one of the ways of getting
connected to your community is to be
networking at all the local events
they’re out there cross marketing false
linking you also need to be completely
connected to your client on a regular
basis you know your party your client to
actually come into your place with
something a direct email a direct link
so that they know that they’re that you
are still human with that the biggest
trend right big event and then he took
you know with digital marketing you have
you have to use it that’s how I get 75%
of my clients that’s but and then the
other percentage of my clients are being
relevant to my community and being being
a showcase it being a face in its in the
community it’s always fun what tell us
what that looks like when you say being
up being a member show up in the
community what are some of the things
that you
do to show up in your community I
participate in the businesses in my
community I Pepperdine University’s one
of the biggest business in my community
I go to school often special padania the
Pepperdine day I go to all the
sororities the sports event I you know
let them know that were there to be
available as you know it’s a great it’s
a great market with young people the
transition from high school to college
through I was getting ready to get their
own style the chamber there’s so many so
many events now they everybody everybody
is getting people to get out and about
because everybody’s so lost in to the
virtual they don’t need to get out about
didn’t get everything at their fingers
up but everybody is pulling things we
get people out so that we can have human
connection leave out the human touch
right and that’s one of my life when I
get out and about people see Malika oh
my god I saw your first party oh I saw
you promotion that you’re doing on
Facebook oh I read your blog oh I got
your email oh I saw this this enemy but
then there when they see me I might I’m
Gohar they’re like yeah I want to
someone I want to be in actually write a
beauty parties are the ticket thing
schools mom’s Beauty politic parties
colleges weddings and then right now
that’s that’s that’s what the style
lounge is about we are not a small deer
style down doing about of course we do
facials in the Fargas inhibitor and
they’re there on special days in special
times they will not watch yourself get
your style on it’s all about how you
look or how you look now you feel right
and so we talked a little bit about some
of the the tools that people are going
to be getting and the need to be able to
have a to hat was the need in order to
have a clientele and and and be
marketing in your area what are some of
the other characteristics of an ideal
candidate for this particular concept
okay this is a aim
who doesn’t wanted to see he doesn’t
want to be blocks in an environment
where there’s too many rules to them
okay they want to be their own boss
somebody’s looking to their own boss
that’s yeah help me out help me out
there I lost for the sake I was looking
for somebody who should could open up a
time upon yourself
yeah what are some of the
characteristics that that person has to
have obviously there’s got to be a great
networker they’ve got to be confident to
go out there in the marketplace and
build relationships and be an advocate
for themselves in their own community
would sound like – why not throw yeah I
mean it’s funny as a dad I’m as I’m
building all this I’m just making a
little mini me what you know what it
wasn’t or one of my traits and somebody
who loves people who’s happy to be with
people who puts their passion behind
something and who gets a hustla okay
it takes and it takes a leader or
passion and a half work and I’ve been so
blessed to always have great companies
behind me that’s what’s giving me the
strength to go out and be daring to do
what I did I would never have been able
to do it without the desserts big
companies like Sebastian a while our
parking devils that were there behind me
to make sure that I had the support but
now I have my brand behind me and I can
give that to the next generation well
you got you got to go out there and be
yourself be your artist be your own self
person but you and you can have the
glamour cornea brown behind you right
right
great well Tara thank you thanks for
taking some time to share with us and if
people wanted to learn more about this

California style lounge and then we’ll

accom website that will talk about
getting involved further in that fog

hi there Patti Schmucker here at Radio
Amb and I’m delighted to bring you
another great innovator an entrepreneur
that’s doing some exciting things in the
market I had a chance to meet Sheree
lydic at the Natural Products Expo
earlier this year Sheree welcome thanks
for taking a few moments to be with us
today and tell us a little bit about no
brainer yet so um no brainer is a focus
on brain and metabolic health we made
ketogenic products of native organic
grass-fed clarified butter and non GMO
MCT oil to fuel the mind metabolism with
fat not sugar because when you feel
yourself with sugar you store fat and
Obama does so hold on it’s a hold on
because your this is tricky because I
was blown away when I saw this it’s a
creamer that you put in your coffee yes
so we felt we I’ve been in the natural
products industry for 16 years I had a
raw foods company before this and I have
MS multiple sclerosis okay go out of my
healing I use food for for health and I
found that using essential fats first
thing in the morning was really
benefiting my body little did I know
this is part of a whole ketogenic
paradigm of Health and the reason why we
use Cramer’s is because 90% of the
population believes breakfast is the
most important meal of the day a 60% of
us skip it 63 percent of us use creamer
and a 68 percent of a few screamers in
our coffee
so we felt that we can really not change
people’s habits but make them a lot
healthier right right and so how does it
work what what is it that that you’re
putting in there that is making a
difference for brain and mental health
yeah it’s amazing the research that’s
come out I mean it just blows me away
every day so when you take vedyam chain
triglycerides so MCT oil that medium
chain triglycerides specifically from
coconut you can
so it down to its essence of C agency
six of it’s very scientific it’s
metabolized right into the liver you in
your brain right away there’s no way for
tangling your brain and metabolism and
there’s been research of a hundred
percent reversal of type two diabetes
our mitigation of Alzheimer’s epilepsy
hangovers if you believe it flaxseed oil
in the morning after a couple of glasses
of wine the night before is extremely
healthy do brain and say that acronym
isn’t again se T oil no M C T M so M as
in mom Susie oil and it’s we used
specifically non-gmo mcg from coconut
and we also use organic grass-fed
clarified butter which has medium
physically mm-hmm okay okay
and so you said yourself that you you
had a health condition that was sort of
the inspiration for you developing this
product yeah so about sixteen years oh
no about fourteen years ago I was
diagnosed with MS and I used organic raw
sprouted foods and I created two moms in
the raw with a organic foods company
that my husband and I led for about
twelve years and when we left that in
about 2016 of March in 2016 of July we
started no-brainer because I have been
using back in my diet and I knew that
there would be a very convenient way of
getting fats at the peoples morning
coffee and tea mm-hmm great and so where
is the product currently being sold so
we are online on Amazon on our website
we’ll also at Whole Foods hi V Earth
Fair a chibis great retailer vitamin
shop but we’re known as reinventing Gary
if you don’t normally think you’ll find
Gary as a supplement aisle but we’re
also found of a settlement island chains
like natural grocers and and also by the
coffee and when you say and I read that
somewhere and we say you’re reinventing
dairy so you have these oils in it is
the base of it’s still a
a dairy product great question
so kita ketogenic is based on the full
fat of dairy and you know even curing
certain cancers there’s a woman out here
this super athlete who’s actually burst
and is in complete remission from our
cancer on the ketogenic diet something
like me can’t do such heavy dairy right
so we have two lines we have a full
dairy line and we have a casein and
lactose free berry all of our products
contain organic breath the clarified
butter when I say clarified butter means
that we have taken the butter oil that’s
taken out the casein Alekos between the
full dairy with organic reza cultured
butter milk and milk and we cream the
dare the case in a lactose free with
coconut milk and nut butters that’s the
one I use if somebody with an autoimmune
and MS I can’t I can’t have those every
dairies but I certainly could have gene
or clarified butter which is extremely
healthy we’re giving me my brain and you
know unfortunately doctors have vilify
cz’s butter and organic grass-fed
clarified butter is essential to our
brain and Matata metabolic oh yeah and
most people don’t know I mean I’m my
exposure to it was from Ayurvedic work
exactly and and the Ayurvedic tradition
in which you clarify the butter it’s not
that difficult to do in terms of boiling
out that fat and being able to have it
be that much healthier for your body
yeah so the minerals and the nutrition
or that much more condensed when you do
that yeah and I follow a very either
Vedic approach to dealing with herbs and
also acupuncture I mean a Chinese
medicine so but I believe in a lot of
those Ayurvedic principles and so we’ve
also brought an adaptogen to our
instance so we have these creamers but
we also have a line of instance where
all you do is add hot water same fast
but we have a chocolate vodka latte at
an original instant original with
Arabica coffee all of those instance I
have introduced ashwagandha
and a lot of those Ayurvedic sore for
healing that’s great so Sheree what what
sherry what’s your what’s what’s ahead
for you what’s the long-term goal what’s
the long-term so we come out with our
premier an instance in this summer we’re
gonna have a multi cell and we’re really
excited about that we have major chains
already giving us purchase orders for
that and my goal is to get these fat in
too many hands as possible we are
looking for funding right now and we’re
looking to grow our business a little
faster than we did with you um we kept
to moms as a small family business for a
long time
but with no brainer it’s too mainstream
it’s too important for our health so I’m
ready to really get just as many values
as I possibly can that’s great and for
those who haven’t heard before
it’s know so Kay and o w brainer dot-com
is is the brand name I no-brainer so
there is another no-brainer about speech
recognition but mine is about Vetta
bollocky and cognitive health so this
one is my aha no brainer
so my no brainer calm yep please anybody
want any more questions about health or
any any questions about my product there
I’m happy to answer emails and
everything from the website goes to say
personally okay great great well let’s
let’s talk after the show as well we
have a crowdfunding program that we’re
launching on American Beauty and that
might be a good fit for some of the
goals I’m see for I know you’re pressed
for time but I’m a multi serve has
collagen which is all about beauty and
hair and joint health so I’m very
excited about the multi serve of having
collagen and delivering seven grams
clothes you teach morning for people on
and this is and this is part of the
reason why I invited you to be on the
show I mean for us coming from me coming
from an Ayurvedic background and in that
type of thing we believe beauty is from
the inside out and you you absolutely
know you know the Ayurvedic tradition
that with a bad diet medicine is of no
value and with a good diet medicine is
is of no need so
that’s right so thank you thank you for
being with us today and thanks all of
you for listening to us next week join
us for one of my most favorite people
and inspirational Robert read another
American entrepreneur who’s brushing up
beauties will be with us sherry thank
you for being with us today
thank you for having you have a great
day okay
I’m patty Schmucker thank you for
listening to radio a and B where we
think pretty is pretty important in all
things and beauty
