Lil Flip is a superstar legendary rapper from Houston, Texas who’s 2nd album went platinum and 3rd album went double platinum. When we sat down at our AFTC studio we got to talk about what kinda man he was growing up from 16,making a good amount of money at that age for battling and rapping, realizing his talent and taking it more seriously, meeting DJ Screw, the story of how DJ Screw crowned him "Freestyle King”, freestyling" and the art of "freestyling" the full story of the classic freestyle that went down in Galveston at the Kappa, with Big Pokey and Shasta, his ability for story telling, where he gets it from, two of my favorite songs from the album "Underground Legend' "Make Mamma Proud" and "I Shoulda Listened" and how millions of people tell him they learned so much from that song, and said even parents come up to him and tell him they play that when their kids don't listen, why he left the national spotlight and went back to the indie scene,the difference between being independent and major,how treating all people with respect no matter what can help you in the long run with business,how he treats people and fans, his relationship with Dipset, how they linked up back in the day and used to roll together when Lil Flip was In NYC or Dipset was in Houston,the 2 apps he has invested in, how he is willing to do a feature with "anyone who is serious”, at one point doing 15 to 20 features a wk, rappers from Houston being forced to learn from Rap A Lot and how to sell your own tapes and cds, him seeing DJ Screw go to the car show and sell his mixtape and come back with 100 to 150,000 $ and Lil Flip would help him count it.I also ask Lil Flip about the reason rapper Tow Down said On AFTC double cups are used because Big Moe could not mix his lean properly and would pour back and forth till it was right" Lil Flip said that is not the reason he heard or was told, but it still could be true, he speaks on Pimp C's eye opening record "Knocking Doors Down" and whether it was what helped squash all the beef between Houston rappers that was dividing the city eat one point and Lil Flip also answers the question, "What will it take for Houston be on top and have the national spotlight again like in 2004, plus much more this is a super dope interview with a legend.

Lil Flip Present King Life Family his new record label this one of the first artist on his roster Da Original AJ and he was Born in Chicago moved to Cali then Texas, for the most part growing up in Cali and TX. This guy was definitely interesting and had some thing to say about his birth place Chicago, he says 'Chicago and Chicago people are heartless" Do You Agree with his opinion?
