In this special episode, Damon interviews Jasmine Labrie, a French Canadian who has been living with cancer since 2011. They discuss:
- how it is living in a foreign country,
- what it is like to be diagnosed with cancer,
- how treatment is,
- head shaving,
- if it is hard to live with uncertainty,
- what support is helpful and less helpful from others,
- what professional support is available and if it helps,
- the advice she would give to people who are struggling with a recent cancer diagnosis.
Damon will be participating in Dry July in 2017, which means that he will abstain from alcohol for the month of July to raise money for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Heidelberg, Australia.
