Echo has worked with (and without) the "system" to coach, mentor and provide a platform for these soon-to-be adults to stand on. Beverly met her when she was recruiting writers and photographers to compile a book of foster child biographies with pictures to encourage families to adopt those children into their homes and out of the system.
