Officials from around the world met earlier this month in Lima, Peru. They were there to discuss climate change, and more specifically, how to keep the world from warming by 2˚C above pre-industrial levels.
The fact that this was the 20th year of these climate talks, should tell you that this is by no means an easy task.
To find out just how difficult it is, I spoke with David Hone, Chief Climate Change advisor at Shell and author of a new book "Putting the Genie Back: Why 2˚ will be Harder than we Think."
I began by asking him, how he came to write the book. |
