I have never lived alone. Yes, I'm well into my 30's and I always had roommates, housemates...you name it. In my 20's, living with someone was a means to an end (LA rent is expensive!) and I definitely faced some insecurities with this situation. Now, in my 30's living with people comes with both tangible reasons and other benefits I now truly value.
