Comedian and writer Dan St. Germain has earned laughs on "The Break with Michelle Wolf," "Superior Donuts," The White House Correspondents Dinner, his stand-up routines and many more, but behind it all, he has struggled with substance abuse, anxiety and panic attacks, and uses meditation to ground himself. "I had an old sponsor who would say this to me, 'the one reason I drank was I just wanted that five minutes of peace and quiet,' and that’s kind of what I wanted with meditation," said St. Germain, who has a new record out now called "No Real Winners Here." "You think, 'Oh the job is going to save me' or 'My relationship is going to save me' or ‘Some greater cause is going to save me,' and the truth is, for me, it's never going to be enough. So you have to be happy with where you’re at."
