Dr. Will Tuttle is an award-winning speaker and author. A former Zen monk with a Ph.D. from U.C., Berkeley, he has worked extensively in intuition development, spiritual healing, meditation, vegan living, and cultural evolution. In this conversation, Will explains in very honest terms how our food choices shape the world around us, and vice versa. In his view, practicing mindfulness can help each one of us unravel the social and cultural norms that we unconsciously adopt throughout our lives. What I took away from this interview is the understanding that an enlightened food system starts with an enlightened view of our connections to the planet and animals. You don’t have to be a Zen master like Will to understand these ideas – but I highly encourage you to keep listening if you want to change the way you see the world and the food we choose.
