After a table for two? (Would you like a table for two?) I can offer you the window, or you can sit here (referring to a table) Note: the waitress say "in the window' because we sat in a window booth. Normally, "by the window" is more commonly used. しばらくしてスタッフが注文を聞きにきました。何を食べようかな？ Conversation when ordering Waitress: Ready to order? Nick： Ready? (to Kaoru) Yeah, we're ready. Kaoru: How big is it? Is it big? (pointing in to the menu) Waitress: Yeah, it's like that big (gesturing with her hands). It's quite big. Nick: Alright. Do you want to just share that? (to Kaoru) Nick: Alright, can we just share the........ Lamb sandwich? Yeah. Waitress: Lamb sandwich? Yeah, not a problem.
