Oh! Can you do me a favour? Nick: Sure. Kaoru: See those books on the coffee table? Nick: Yes. Kaoru: Can you bring them to your brother’s house? Nick: Bring them to my brother’s house? Nick: Ah. you mean... “Can I take them.” 今回のミステイク “Can you bring them?” 説明これは「持って来る」と「持って行く」の違いです。こう覚えましょう。“You bring things here, and take things there.” つまり何かを自分のいる所へ持って来る場合は ‘Bring’、何かをどこかへ持って行く場合は‘Take’を使います。! かおるはニックがこれから行く兄の家へ本を持って行ってほしいので、この場合‘Take’が適切です。例外として未来の出来事を話していて、どの場所にも対象となる人物がいない時は、どちらを使っても間違いではありません。あなたをどの場所に置いて、何を強調したいかで、どちらを使うかが変わってきます。例文 1. Let’s take the kids to the park this weekend for a picnic. 2. That’s a good idea. We should bring a bottle of wine (takeでも可). 3.
