Twitter boss Jack Dorsey says the social media giant, and his other company Square, are to recognise Juneteenth as a holiday. The date, June 19th, commemorates the day the last slaves in the US were told they were free following the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Also, 35 Democrats in the House of representatives have signed a letter calling for federal agencies to stop surveillance of George Floyd protesters. The London scientist leading one of two UK bids to develop a coronavirus vaccine hopes to have his ready within a year. Google’s admitted there’s a problem with its Pixel Buds.
