There's something about that kind of wisdom. That's what I remember most about my interview with Ray. His advice is like that of an old friend. It's not cutesy, but a reality check that slaps you in the face. I had such a great time talking to Ray. In fact, he gave me over an hour of his time, so there is about 20 to 30 minutes that didn’t make the final cut. But that said, I had to take Ray’s advice and be ruthless as an editor.
