Gentleness is something we typically associate with being kind, soft, and meek. Based on this description, no one in my family knows anything about gentleness. Luckily, the Bible has a lot more to say on gentleness than the connotation that most of us have.
About Val:
Val has served my life in many capacities: she is my cousin, was my elementary school keyboarding teacher, and was over youth ministry and the youth Bible Study at the church I where I grew up. She is now a pastor and continues to work with youth. Despite not fitting the expected definition of gentle, Val has a gentle spirit that comes out subconsciously.
