CONTENT WARNING: This case involves the sexual assault and murder of a child. 7-year-old Sherrice Iverson, was roaming a casino in Primm, Nevada, alone after being in the care of her 14-year-old brother, Harold, in the casino's arcade. Sherrice's dad had driven in the middle of the night to gamble. This resulted in Sherrice running around unmonitored. Eventually, Jeremy Strohmeyer followed Sherrice into a women's restroom and took her life. The case drew national attention by focusing on the safety of children in casinos and on the revelation that Strohmeyer's friend, David Cash Jr., said he saw the crime in progress but did not stop it.
