It's confirmed it will develop a detailed business case for the hydro storage set-up, despite the estimated cost of the project leaping to 16-billion dollars - a huge jump from the initial four-billion. Manawa Energy Chairman Paul Ridley Smith says that there are so many smarter ways to decarbonise.
