The Government is playing down reports of unintended consequences from its new lending requirements. It's brought forward a review of the legislation, after reports of people being rejected for mortgages due to spending on things like takeaways or domestic travel. Commerce Minister David Clark told Mike Hosking they also want to look at whether there are wider factors at play.
