Crossbred sheep farmers are cursing paying their shearing bill that now exceeds the price of taking it off. A Wool Working group was established in July 2018 to set a roadmap for wool's woeful worries.
Dated 4th March 2019 in an article by Annette Scott in Farmers Weekly - “At the third meeting of the Wool Working Group (WWG) last week a draft action plan was signed off and is now undergoing a review by the group’s facilitators due in September 2019”.
But, simple question - it's February 2020 - so wheres the inspirational vision for wool, Minister? |
