Southland farmers are getting very worried about how to budget feed for winter with crops not striking after the recent flooding. We are joined by Agribusiness consultant Deane Carson for an update and his advice.

The lockdown period has been excellent for getting Kiwis into growing their own food and we learn from an entrepreneurial young Canterbury woman, Flora Brons, who is educating children about the food system.

Its time to supply local wood to local processors first, what the Ministers plans are with marginal Maori land and water storage as well as how to boost rural connectivity. Regional Development Minister Shane Jones wants to dispel a log quota yet we need a think-local approach to forestry. 

Bull sale season is upon us and with the lockdown has come new challenges and innovations on how New Zealand's stud breeders will be presenting and selling their bulls this year. Cam Heggie from PGG Wrightson joins us to explain how buyers can participate.
