The Rams are traveling to San Francisco with playoff seeding on the line. They've decided to take gambles in starting Carson Wentz and sitting a majority of their core in Aaron Donald, Ernest Jones, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Kyren Williams (while SF is presumably electing to do something similar, with Purdy & McCaffrey already out). They're also somewhat dependent on the Bears finding a way to beat Green Bay in Lambeau Field, because it then guarantees the Rams are locked into the 6th seed and will likely have the favorable match-up that the world desires in Detroit. Let's see how it all pays off, and if resting their starters pays dividends during Wild Card weekend.
