The Rams lost on MNF to the 0-2 Bengals mainly because of self-inflicted wounds. They were 1-11 on 3rd down, 0-3 in the Red Zone, and became more and more one-dimensional as the game progressed. Sean McVay seemingly called a game that went against the Rams' core offseason principle: which was keeping his QB1 upright, and protected throughout the entirety of the season. The offensive line was banged up in this game, but is that any excuse to neglect the run in a one-score game (on the road)?! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information. |
