Several new rule changes designed to speed up games will be trialled in Super Rugby Pacific.

Referees will enforce time limits on conversions, penalty kicks, scrums, and rucks.

Television Match Officials will also now only interrupt play for clear and obvious incidents of foul play.

Former All Black Ant Strachan says these rule changes will speed matches up, as time limits will cut down on delays.
