Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown has recently announced Auckland Council's joined-up plan that focuses on shifting the Port of Auckland and building Light Rail.
This plan was devised after Wayne Brown and Transport Minister Michael Wood made an agreement to put aside their differences and collaborate on their priorities.
